Single Family
NRCDC extends the continuum of housing from rental to homeownership; helping families secure their neighborhood and build assets. We established an affordable housing program for low and moderate-income families. The organization builds new homes and rehabilitates existing homes to sell to program participants.
NRCDC has designed elegant and spacious floor plans based on living as a family instead of isolated units, and we will continue to develop innovative floor plans. The floor plans encourage conversing, relating and sharing, which the organization believes builds stronger family ties. Homebuyers can choose from several different one and two-story floor plans or a townhouse.
NRCDC has begun to rehabilitate single-family homes, with a goal of rehabilitating a number of houses every year. Our goal is to rehabilitate and sell a minimum of 250 homes within the next ten years. In essence, our main focus when it comes to rehabilitation is to restore families to a normal life through training and therapy over a period of time. When it comes to helping your family, we are not just an organization, we offer support and a helping hand.
