Computer & Technology

NRCDC Computer TrainingAccess to computers and the Internet, and the knowledge to effectively use this technology are critically important in the workplace and in schools. Despite this fact, there is still a “digital divide” between individuals and communities that have access to these Digital Age tools and those who don’t.

Recognizing the importance of computer access and training, NRCDC owns and operates a 16-station Computer Learning & Technology Center at Nubia Square.  The center provides computer training for the entire community and averages about 2,400 computer usages a year.

Classes are available for first-time computer users who need basic training, Internet 101 for novice computer users learning to navigate the Web, and e-mail instruction for those who want to communicate with family and friends electronically.  For information on computer training classes, please contact us at 713-520-5232 or info@nrcdc.org.
